As a member of Girlguiding UK, I have been selected to take part in a Girlguiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD) project to The Gambia.

In Autumn 2015 I will be travelling to The Gambia to spend three weeks with 5 other Adult Leaders to deliver a recruitment and retention programme with existing and prospective children and young people. We will also be running training sessions on teamwork with leaders from The Gambian Girl Guides Association.

In order to go to The Gambia I need to fundraise £1700 which will pay for flights, insurance and the cost of our project. I also have to raise a further £600 for other essentials such as vaccinations, resources and uniform.
