Fundraising in memory of our beautiful Mia to support Meningitis Research Foundation and create the much needed awareness of this devastating disease.

Story

I am running the 2022 London Marathon because I want to help Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia. Meningitis affects those around us, with 1 in 10 who gets diagnosed with meningitis passing away. Being in a generation where meningitis is not highly spoken about even though it affects us more, I want to help raise awareness. I want to use my passion of running to contribute to an amazing charity that helps those affected by the infection.

I am dedicating this to Mia Daisy Ginever - who sadly lost her life to bacterial meningitis at age 19. This is for her, the Ginever family and her close loved ones.

Pleas support in any way you can. Either donating or sharing this page to your friends and family. Thank you for any support given xx

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
