Next year on April 2nd myself, Mum, Dad and Steve will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my daughter Maisie to raise money for The Lily Foundation.

Both myself and Mum have made it round the course before in 2019, but it will be Dad and Steve's first time.

It has been quite a while since any of us have been able to raise money and we want to do Maisie proud by doing our very best and raising as much money as we can.

Maisie has been apart from us now for over 4 years and it hasn't got better or any easier, and never will. We have to adjust our lives day by day based on how we feel, but two feelings that always remain are heartbreak and love, so much love.

We are raising money so The Lily Foundation is able to help and support families like ours and ultimately to find a cure, so no other family has to go through the heartbreak and hurt we feel everyday.

Please donate whatever you can to us to show your support and push us round the 13.1 mile course. When things get tough we will remember all the donations and messages of support and mostly Maisies little face to get us to the end!

I am raising money for Team Maisie, to help them to support The Lily Foundation, the UKs leading Mitochondrial Disease charity.The Lily Foundation supports families of children that suffer from mitochondrial disorders and leads the way in searching for cures. Everyday a child is born in the UK who will develop Mitochondrial Disease, a life limiting genetic condition that Maisie was born with.With your support, in her memory we can make sure no family has to say goodbye to their child and go through the nightmare that Maisie's family have.
