Story

Those who know me well know that running the London Marathon has always been on my bucket list.. despite not being a consistent or long distance runner!

I am thrilled (and slightly nervous) to share that I'll be taking on the 2024 TCS London Marathon to raise money for Coram, a phenomenal charity with incredible purpose.

Coram is the UK's first children's charity and have worked tirelessly to improve children's chances in life since they were founded 284 years ago. Today, they champion children's rights and wellbeing, making lives better through legal support, expert advocacy, adoption services and therapeutic, educational and cultural programmes.

The work of Coram is far reaching with incredible impact. It's heartbreaking to know that there are 2.3 million children in the UK who do not have the love and opportunity they need to thrive. Through Coram's support, here's how your donations might help:

  • £25 provides a child with five sessions of life-changing one-to-one reading support
  • £50 helps Coram keep a young person safe when we make a safeguarding alert
  • £100 helps Coram match children to secure and loving families through our Adoption Activity Days

No donation is too small and it all adds up! Thank you in advance for your support to help me get running & raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.

Wish me luck!!
