Story
Last year, I guided Ellie, a visually impaired runner, in the 5k run as part of the triathlon sprint relay team. I was so inspired by her team's efforts, that this year, I'm doing the whole thing! I haven't ridden a bike in 20 years but now I have to cycle 20k, as well as the 5k run and the 750m outdoor swim. I can't wait to get going and so I've joined the Kensal Tri team to raise funds for the exciting new sports facility at the local school - the QPCS all-weather 3G pitch! It will be available for the whole local community to use, encouraging community sports at all levels. Sport is good for everyone but for some it's life changing, even life saving. Please sponsor me and remember to click Gift Aid so your donation is worth 25% more, at no extra cost to you (and there is no need to pay Just Giving's additional platform fees). It's for the good of the hood! #forthegoodofthehood
