Story

We have decided to enter the Bridlington Half Marathon with 9 weeks to go till race day!! Anyone who knows us will be aware that neither of us have ever been runners so this is a massive challenge for us both.

However, we have decided to give it a go to raise money for the SANDS (Stillborn and Neonatal Death) Charity. This charity provides invaluable support to bereaved families and helps to improve the care families receive, as well as funding vital research to prevent more families suffering the loss of their baby. It has been estimated that everyday in the UK, 17 babies are stillborn, or die shortly after birth. Professionals believe that many of these deaths are preventable.

Through raising money and campaigning, we hope to contribute to this worthy cause.

Thank you, any donation is greatly appreciated and needed.
