This July I'll be taking on a cycling challenge with five colleagues and a host of other riders from the London Market - taking on 450km and over 7000m of climbing in four days through the breath-taking Jura mountains in Switzerland.

It will be three weeks after (hopefully) completing my first full distance Ironman triathlon, and I'm only half joking when I say I'm worried the training for that won't be enough to see me through the mountains!

All of this is to help raise money for Action Medical Research, the leading UK charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Action have been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and have helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. They are now driving forward children's research, including in the fight against rare diseases. Raptör, the multi-day ride for the Insurance Industry, is back for a fifth year that will see riders cycling in the scenic but challenging Swiss Jura mountains to raise for this incredible charity.
