Story
In November 2021, I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. My first experience of a “relapse” was in March 2021; I started to lose sight in my right eye and after a week, I had complete loss of vision. I also lost the feeling in my left leg which made it very difficult to walk. After many hospital appointments, MRI scans and eventually a lumbar puncture, I was given a diagnosis.
I joined an amazing support group “MS Together”. It is a support group and community organisation for 18-35 year olds who have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and live in the UK and Ireland. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram @mstogetherofficial
On the 29th May 2022, we aim to collectively walk / run / wheel the equivalent of 3 Million Steps by midnight!
I have pledged my steps, and will be completing The Sandstone Trail in 24 hours to raise funds and awareness for MS. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your support!
