Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
Bella was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 9 years old on the last day of June last year. A few scary days in hospital and a lot of ups and downs (and sleepless nights) later we are learning to live with T1.
JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) provided us with valuable resources when we were in total shock, very tired, emotional and clueless!
They also carry out important research which we hope will one day find a cure so our daughter doesn’t have to carry on going through the daily struggles she currently faces.
If you know our beautiful Bella you know she is the kindest, most caring, clever, sweet, sporty, funny and incredible child and I’d take this from her in a heartbeat.
After a 400,000 step challenge completed by Bellas mum Sophie, a 50 mile ultra completed by Auntie Ceri and the Manchester Marathon being run soon by Uncle Jamie, Bellas Grandma is holding one of her world famous Gin Nights. An evening at Porter Towers which is home to Cheshires most extensive Gin collection, sample cocktails, win prizes and enjoy priceless company all in aid of this children's charity which we hope one day will find a cure for our Bella and many other children who battle T1 daily.
Every little helps! Thanks folks! Soph xxx
Edit - thank you so much for all the donations so far I am blown away and so so grateful 🥰
