Story
So if I’m honest, I don’t particularly enjoy running, especially too far! But what I do enjoy is pushing myself and a good challenge!
This year, it will be 10 years since I lost my dad, and 19 years since I lost my mum, both to cancer. This was obviously an incredibly difficult time for me and my family that was eased by the support and care of The Martlets Hospice.
A bit of effort and a small run from me is the least I can do to show my gratitude in raising whatever I can, as every penny helps, but to also run in memory of my parents as well as showing my boys that you can face any challenges life throws.
So please support me, whether it’s a like, a high five, a cheer on the day, it’s needed, appreciated and if you can please sponsor me.
Big thank you

Martlets is a local charity that provides terminally ill people in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas, with the very best care and support. Our expert team helps patients live life to the full during the precious time they have left.Martlets opened in 1997. The staff and services were formed from the merger of three separate charities: Coppercliff Hospice, Tarner and MacMillan Day Hospice. Across the hospice services, more than 25,000 local people have been supported and cared for since 1997.Most people receive care from us in their own homes. Outpatients also visit our hospice for pain relief, physiotherapy, counselling, welfare advice and social activities. Others choose to spend their final days here, or to join us as inpatients for respite care or symptom management.
