Beth & I used to work together. Beth‘s a Registered Veterinary Nurse and I‘m a Vet. In September we will be walking 100km through day and night as part of the South Coast Challenge. Our chosen charity this time round is VetLife. They provide much needed emotional and financial support for the veterinary community, including a 24hr crisis line. Sadly the veterinary profession suffers with very poor mental health. Veterinary professionals are around four times more likely to die by suicide than the general public. We want to say thank you to VetLife for the work they do & raise as much as we can to help them continue to provide such vital services.
