Story

To commemorate Maisie’s 3rd birthday I am gonna mix things up and throw myself off a tower  instead of a plane this year and will be taking part in an 131ft abseil in Aberdeen off of the Northern Lights tower!!

In June 2021 one of my best friends lost their beautiful little girl Maisie just weeks after her 1st birthday. Hannah and Ross reached out to Scottish Cot Death Trust seeking guidance and support. The entire family was welcomed and continue to receive help in different many forms from this fantastic charity.

Last year Hannah and Ross organised a charity evening that also had different members of Hannah and Ross’ close friends and family taking part in different fundraisers throughout June. Myself and Ryan done a skydive, Lori done a bungee jump, Shirley and Pat done a sponsored walk. From all the fundraising and donations we raised £10,000 for the charity.

This is Scotland's only charity dedicated to sudden and unexpected death in infancy and young children. They provide:

Support for those affected, education resources for parents & professionals, research & development funding.

Please if you can, donate. This charity has and continues to give phenomenal help and support to families who are going through tragedy. 🤍

About the campaign

Please give your support to help make a difference to families devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of a baby or young child.

About the charity

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.
