We provide life-saving treatment to men in suicidal crisis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Please support myself and Ollie as we prepare to run our first half marathon! I cannot say we have enjoyed any of the training so far but we are getting there... very slowly!

We are raising money for the James Wentworth Stanley Memorial Fund. This is a charity that has been set up to raise awareness of issues such as anxiety and depression that have unfortunately led many young people to take their own lives. It is a shocking and somewhat unknown fact that suicide is the leading cause of death amongst young men in the UK and I feel more needs to be done in terms of raising awareness and providing critical support to those affected.

The charity is particularly important to me as for the last year it has been my office charity-set up in memory of a colleague who sadly took his own life in October 2014.

Please visit JWSMF's site to read about the important work they are doing and how your donations can help: hhtp://jwsmf.org/

Please donate as much as you can and help support this important cause.

Thank you,

Sophie & Ollie.

Our mission is to stop men dying by suicide and we believe death by suicide is preventable. Yet, in the UK suicide is still the single leading cause of death of men under 50. At James’ Place, we provide proven, professional therapy for men in suicidal crisis to help them find hope for the future.
