Story
On 26th April, Soniya and Sophie will be attempting to run 26.2 miles as part of the Virgin London Marathon. This is a massive challenge for both of us and we have hundreds of hours of training ahead of us through the winter.
Fortunately, we are motivated by an extremely good cause: Leukaemia CARE.
Although not the highest profile cause, 34,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer every year in the UK. Worse still, childhood leukaemia is the most common form of blood cancer, and the most common form of cancer in children.
Leukaemia CARE provides vital information, advice and support to anyone who has been affected by a blood cancer diagnosis. The charity receives absolutely no NHS, lottery or Government funding and therefore relies solely on fundraising efforts like this to ensure that they can continue to provide much-needed services to anyone affected by blood cancer.
Any donation you can make to this amazing charity, however small, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Sophie & Soniya
