I entered the public ballot for the London Marathon because no one ever gets in, do they? But I did - and was not a runner!!!!! Lots of tough training later I'm getting there but think it would be a big waste of effort to do all this and miss the opportunity to raise money for charity. I go out for a run in the cold and wet and look forward to returning home to warm up and dry out - some people don't have the luxury of a warm dry place to go, so please give what you can so we can help them.
