Winston's Wish - Sunrise Walks (West Sussex) 2009 · 27 September 2009 ·

We offer free, UK-wide, accessible online grief support to children and young people (up to 25) who are bereaved or facing the death of someone important, and the parents and carers of babies and children who are dying or have died.

Story

Every 22 minutes a child in Britain is bereaved of a parent; that's 24,000 newly bereaved children every year.
When I was younger I was bereaved of my dad. That’s why I am now taking part in the sunrise, 10 mile walk, in aid of Winston’s Wish, a charity which helps bereaved children all over the UK.

We encourage you donate as much as you can and aim for our target of £100 which could pay for:
 - Ten specialist publications sent out to help line callers
 - One of Winston’s Wish's specialist teams answering six calls to our help lines
 - One individual session for a young person or family member with one of there practitioners.

If you have any questions about the walk please visit
www.sunrisewalk.co.uk.

Thank You.
