My name is Sophie and on the 3rd of July I am going to run three kilometres to raise money for Cancer Research UK. In 2003, 6 months before my sister was born my nan unfortunately died from Cancer. She was the most courageous and brave woman I have ever met and she never let anything get in the way of what she wanted to do. I think that it is unfair that this happens to so many people; people that should be able to live longer than cancer gives them. I am running to remember the lost and raise money for the living.
