Story

I started runnning a lot last February (when my boyfriend Dave was training for the Brighton marathon 2012), and then decided to sign up for the Brighton Marthon 2013 in May. I'd wanted to run a marathon for a while but I just didn't think that I'd have the time to train; however I thought this year would be the last chance I get before I'm teaching full time! Also Dave finished in a very respectable 4:34, which spurred me on to see if I could beat him (not that I'm at all competative!!)

I knew I wanted to raise money for a charity; so set about researching my options and decided on Great Ormond Street Hospital. Every time I struggle to set out the door and run (especially when it's cold, wet and dark!) I remind myself where the money is going and that no matter how much I hurt running, it is not even a fraction of what the brave little patients at the hospital (and their families) go through!! Please help make this all VERY worthwhile and donate whatever you can. Thank you xxxx :D
