Story
On Saturday 2nd July 2016, my husband Tom and I will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise awareness of endometriosis and to raise money for Endometriosis UK.
Endometriosis is a condition affecting 1 in 10 women, where cells similar to those lining the uterus grow outside of that area, which can cause chronic pain, heavy and prolonged periods, bladder and bowel problems, fatigue and infertility. It can impact significantly on a woman’s quality of life.
Endometriosis UK provides support services and information to those affected by endometriosis and I am fundraising for them to help support the work they do. I first discovered the charity in 2014 when I was diagnosed with endometriosis myself. Through them, I found valuable information to help me understand this debilitating condition. I am now a volunteer with the charity where I run the York support group.

Thank you for your support!
