I am running for JDRF, a type 1 diabetes charity helping to raise awareness for such a terrible and difficult diesease to live with. The charity works close with sufferers, many of them children and works towards finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Until a cure is found, the charity also helps people living with the burden of diabetes. This charity means so much to me as before meeting my partner, I was never aware of the difficulties type 1 sufferers face on a daily basis and I believe this charity can raise awareness and educate people on a diesease that affects so many people.
