London/Cologne to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge 2013 · 15 May 2013 to 17 May 2013 ·

Lessons for Life and Street Child believe every child deserves the chance to go to school and learn. Our projects focus on a combination of education, child protection and livelihood support to address the social, economic and structural issues that underpin today’s education crisis.

Story

The time has come once again to hop on my bike, pedal furiously and hopefully make it to Amsterdam! This year we will be cycling over two days, rather than three so it will be more of a challenge!

Thanks to your amazing generosity last year, the ride was able to raise £214,000 and this will put 2,500 primary school children into school for a year or 375 students through university for a year or help 125 students complete a 3 year university degree course in Africa.

For those of you who would like more detail on the Lessons for Life Foundation, please see the link below. It continues to be a fantastic cause, with the main benefit being that Liberty Global covers the administrative costs so all you money goes to the children.

As ever, I am deeply grateful for any money you are able to contribute.

Thank you

Sophie
