Story
On Thursday 2nd December, our City of Portsmouth College Uniformed Protective Services staff and students, will be attempting to run as many miles as possible in memory of our late student Sian Reeds.
Sian, a keen runner, sadly passed away in November last year because of DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) which is a type of brain tumour.
We would like to raise awareness of this awful aggressive type of brain tumour and also raise as much money as we can for The Indee Rose Trust who support children during and after treatment for brain and spinal tumours.
This is a charity very close to Sian's family.
We would love to surpass the 265 miles we ran last year, which was the equivalent from Portsmouth College ➡️Berwick-upon-Tweed.
If you would like to donate, please give what you can and any amount is much appreciated for a fantastic cause.
Many thanks,
The Uniformed Protective Services Team @ City of Portsmouth College
