Hello everyone! This July I will be taking on the UK three peaks challenge- hiking Ben Nevis, Snowden and Scafell Pike in 24 hours. I am fundraising for Meningitis Research Foundation. They are an amazing charity who aim to defeat meningitis and septicaemia by funding research into these awful diseases and improving public and government knowledge of them to make them a global health probity. Meningitis and septicaemia are serious, life threatening diseases and they impact so many families each year, particularly because babies and young children are at risk of these diseases. This is a charity very close to my heart as I suffered from something similar as a child and so I have seen the effects on myself and family first hand. I also have a friend who suffered from meningitis and again I have seen the effects of it on herself and family.
