Story
On 16th January this year we lost a true light in both of our lives, our incredible best friend Ellis Powell. Ellis tragically passed away from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy- something that is more common in the UK than a lot of people realise. Ellis lived with epilepsy throughout her life and in all the time we knew her, so completely and utterly, we were astounded every day by her enormous courage, how she never let anything get her down, her ability to keep smiling even on the worst days, and not forgetting- her immense talent for pretending to be a wizard in public places. SUDEP Action is an incredible charity that does brilliant work in raising awareness, funding research and working closely with grieving families in the effort of making every epilepsy death count. No amount of money will bring our darling girl back, but raising money in her memory will leave a brilliant legacy, to go along with the wonderful memories she shared with so many people. We'd like to raise a significant amount of money in Ellis' memory; to add to the fund already raised by so many people whose lives El has touched. So if you can, dig deep, we'd appreciate any donation, big or small. Our jump isbooked for Saturday 26th October at 10am in Headcorn areodrome. We'd love if you would like to come and watch our anguish! The details will be posted soon!
Thanks for taking the time to read our story, and we hope to be receiving your donations soon!
