Help me raise some money for the Dogs Trust, a charity that does an amazing job!

I've chosen the Dogs Trust in memory of my boy Jarvis who I rehomed in 2010 from the Darlington Dogs Trust. I was due to run the GNR but as it's been cancelled, I'm running the 22 miles from my home to the Darlington Dog's Trust with my best friend Hannah on Saturday 12 September!

Throughout his life, Jarvis suffered with a bad chest and after all the medication and vet visits, they finally diagnosed him with dog asthma. As his chest deteriorated the kindest thing I could do was to put him down. It was the hardest decision of my life as he fell asleep in my arms on Friday 16 August 2019.

Jarvis was such a loving, goofy and clumsy dog who stole my heart as soon as I met him. He loved nothing more than running on the beaches and chasing his ball.

Anyone who knows me knows I hate running long distances but as it was one of my boy's fave things to do, I couldn't think of a better tribute to him. It certainly isn't going to be easy for me but it'll be worth it!
