Story
Hello Everyone
I will be running the London Marathon 2019 for Blind Veterans UK. Blind Veterans UK is a fantastic charity that supports ex-Armed Forces and National Service personnel who have lost their eyesight either through combat or since serving. The charity has been making a huge difference to their lives since 1915.
I am running in the hope to raise awareness of the cause and to raise money to improve blind veterans’ quality of life - having never run a marathon before, I see this as a huge personal challenge and in doing so am excited to be raising funds for such a worthy cause.
I would be grateful for any donation or support as part of my journey to helping blind veterans’ and completing the London Marathon!
