Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This April I will be running the London Marathon and raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action. This charity is important to me as my friend Hannah was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and unfortunately lost her battle with this awful illness. It is important to me, and it was to her, that people learn more about Ovarian Cancer and can hopefully spot the symptoms earlier, meaning a better chance of survival.

Up until the marathon I will be holding fundraising events and keeping this page up to date with my training progress, so please get involved and donate what you can!

Thank you so much! Wish me luck, I have never done anything like the London Marathon before but am very excited about the day and raising money for the charity!

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
