Story
After I crossed the finish line at the London Marathon last year I swore I would never ever ever do it again, but here I am, getting ready to complete it once again.
This year I'll be running it with my boss so that means I won't be able to whinge, quit, cry or moan because you never know he might just end up giving me the sack and I really can't be dealing with job hunting, so surely that's good cause for a sympathy donation!
We will be running the course dressed as the Harlem Globetrotters sans the basketball, I've got very little hand eye co-ordination and foresee a catalogue of accidents if I'm let loose with a ball. This was decided on a very long night shift, still doesn't really explain the choice, but hopefully it will raise a few smiles.
We're raising money for the Charlie Chaplin Adventure Playground http://www.ccapuk.org which provides high quality play provision for children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Thanks for your support
