Story

Hi! Four years on since I ran the Edinburgh Marathon and I figured I’d probably exhausted all the glory I could possibly eke out from it, so it’s time to run another.. this time Brighton! (Why do you keep rejecting me, London??)

I hadn’t intended to fundraise again this time around - and figured you might think it a bit cheeky if I did! - but with the news of the devastating war in Ukraine, I thought I would use this opportunity to support the humanitarian relief there.

The Disasters Emergency Committee brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently in times of crisis overseas. Its charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people, including providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

I’m so very grateful for any support (and encouragement) you can provide x
