Unlike my dad, I wasn't into sports growing up. I was the one who was ‘afraid of the ball’. I tried netball and hockey and later less aggressive pastimes like swimming and dancing. My ‘hand-eye-coordination’ is not impressive. I’m sure this is why I’m a terrible parallel parker…and I can’t cook too well!

My dad's love of walking, swimming and running did rub off though so to honour my dad's memory I am raising money for the limbless association by running the bupa 10k with my sister Aimee and brother Harry.
