Our Granddad is the strongest person we know - he fought  Alzheimer's disease for many years but sadly he passed away on 21st May 2014. This disease not only took away the Granddad that we knew but it had a major impact on the whole family. From learning to cope with him eventually not knowing who we were anymore to supporting each other through the ups and downs over the years. So in October we are not only raising money in memory of our amazing Granddad and to help beat this disease but also to do our bit to support other families who have or are suffering the way our family did watching this disease grasp hold and change the person we loved. Even though our trek will be completed by the end of October we will still have until December to try and beat our target of £3100!

We thank you all very much for your support - this fundraising has given us away of celebrating the life of our Granddad and keeping his memory alive. Thank you again for joining us on this journey!
