Well, I did it!  Had a great day and met some really inspirational women while doing it.  Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me.  You have all been very generous.  Some of you I haven't seen in years (Richard Meeus, the longest  -  aprox 25 years!!!!) and it is incredibly kind of you to part with you money.  When I figure out how to upload photos from my phone I will provide everyone with the evidence that I was there!!!!  Once again, thanks all!  Soph xxx (19th September 2010)

JUNE 2010:  I have NEVER done anything like this before and felt I ought to challenge myself physically for a change!  I am raising money for Brain Tumour UK in support of Bill Cawley, my Head of Department, who is currently being treated for a brain tumour.  I've also been inspired by other friends who have done this type of thing to raise money for other charities.  It might also get me fit in the process!!!  I can't promise I'll be running it BUT I can promise I will finish it!  If you can sponsor me that would be great  -  I've set myself a rather optimistic target of £500.  Thanks.  Soph
