Story
Sheffield Hospitals have already provided amazing care for people I know including my grandparents. Recently my best friend received the devastating news that her Mum has leukemia and needed to start treatment straight away. I was already planning on running the Sheffield Half Marathon on 26th September but decided that this was the perfect opportunity to raise some money for a charity that has already helped my loved ones, and is helping my best friends Mum right now. Please dig deep and donate anything you can to help the Sheffield Hospitals Charity, in particular the leukemia care wards at the Royal Hallamshire. Thank you!
This is the charity's message....
"Everything we do is about improving the treatment of local patients and supporting NHS staff to deliver the best quality of care in all of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, this includes: Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Northern General Hospital, Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Weston Park Cancer Hospital, Jessop Wing Maternity Hospital. The generosity of our supporters enables us to invest more than £2.5 million a year on supporting the remarkable work of the NHS hospitals in Sheffield. Thanks to you, we are able to fund projects and services above and beyond what the NHS can afford, ensuring that patients in Sheffield receive the best care and treatment possible.
