As I may or may not have told you, I am raising money to fund my trip in July 2013 to do six weeks of volunteering for an NGO, volunteering to do physiotherapy in a hospital for street and disadvantaged children in THE HIGHEST CAPITAL CITY IN THE WORLD... La Paz, Bolivia...

To help these children I need to raise a total of £2250, I will be doing this through a few events over the next couple of months and would appreciate any support you can give me!

An idea of things that I'll be doing is general physiotherapy for children which includes these things and much else!
-Position changing for those children who are bed bound, especially nursery children who can't do it on their own
-Teaching children to walk after surgery, injury or illness
-Walking simulation
-Massage therapy
-Sports, games and play therapy to get them active!
-Help with day to day activites!

Where does you money go?

The money will go toward the trip away, to the hospital itself in getting better equipment, to a host family who will put me up (this is thier main source of income) and to help give better oportunities to people in the UK for volunteering and to people in Bolivia who may want to do the same but do not have the same opportunities! I am am doing this through a charity organisation ICYE-UK.

It's a fantastic opportunity I have got and really need as much help as possible in fundraising for this! Keep an eye on this as there will most definately be things coming up on this page!
