Hello everyone. My name is Sophia and I am 8 years old. I attend Hadrian School in Newcastle. I will be running/walking, maybe even dancing a little, the Mini Great North Run (1 mile) on the 11th September to help raise money for my amazing School. My Mammy, Nicola, who is 46 years old, is helping too by doing the Great North Run the next day, the 12th September. Let me tell you a little about my School, did I say how amazing it is...
Hadrian School is in Newcastle upon Tyne. The School caters for the needs of pupils aged between two and eleven years with a range of additional needs including complex, severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. I love my school and everyone who works there is amazing. The school also has help from volunteers, who are also amazing. The money we raise will be used to purchase much needed equipment, and in particular help towards the cost of a new Hydro Pool. Please, help us out if you can, any amount will be greatly appreciated.
