As some of you may know, my dad was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine cancer in January 2022 and sadly passed away in July. I thought long and hard about which charity I wanted to support through my London Marathon fundraising and decided to fundraise in his memory for a cause he cared deeply about. The NSPCC felt like the best fit as dad always cared about helping children and particularly children who had faced abuse. He had hopes of building an orphanage in his home town in Kashmir, Pakistan, but sadly he never got the chance to fulfil that dream. I've chosen to support the NSPCC in his memory and contribute to change that he would have wanted to see.
