Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 5th October 2019, we (Sophie, Hannah and Jill) will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough totalling a massive 24 miles and 1585m (5200ft) of ascent in just under 12 hours!

We decided to do the challenge to raise money for Baggy Trousers UK, a cancer charity founded by Jack Broadley, a young man who was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the age of 21 and embarked on a journey to help others that have been affected by the illness that he once had.

In November 2018, Sophie’s husband, Greg, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Luckily, it was caught early enough and after an operation and a small dose of chemotherapy he is, hopefully, now cancer free! Baggy Trousers UK made contact with Sophie after the diagnosis on social media and offered their support to Greg and we would love to raise as much money as possible to support this amazing charity.

Any donations would be appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read our story! :)
