Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I wanted to do something useful and give myself an incentive, to get my body moving, I found Marie Curie online and decided to run my first 5k for them.

Did you know???

£20 pays for a Marie Curie Nurse for 1 hour in a patients home

£135 Would pay for someone to attend a Day Theraphy Unit in a Marie Curie Hospice

£800 pays for the cost of caring for a patient in a Marie Curie Hopice for 1 day

I worked in health and social care for several years and have seen the strain and love that goes into caring for a loved one and the support that both the families and patients need, please consider supporting the work of these Nurses and supporting those affected by Cancer.

Please also feel free to join me on race day 18th September in Memorial Park Coventry Race starts at 11 am. I am prepared for heckling and general mickey taking (it may be the only chance you get). I am planning to actually run this thing!!
