UPDATE!!

I am back in training for the EMF Edinburgh marathon ths May 2013.  Last year I had to withdraw due to a back injury so I'm trying again.  The training is killing me and s no easier after Chester last year.  So if you fancy it, chuck me a fiver, a tenner or a pound please and watch me suffer....

Well last year was the EMF Edinburgh half marathon and this year it's time for be to be totally stupid and run the Chester Marathon 07 October 2012 and BUPA Great Manchester Run 2012.  If you would like to keep me inspired and donate some cash, then your hard earned donation will go to Guide Dogs UK.  For those that don't know, I am part of Guide Dogs UK Salford Branch which is new and small but with members who try to raise as much money as possible.

Blindness or partial blindness affects people of all ages and from all walks of life and this charity, you may be surprised to know gets absolutely zilch (zero!) money from the governement and so it's down to you and I to get these little puppy dogs trained to make someone very happy and ensure normality in their life.  I haven't got a sad video to show you like the ones on the big TV fundraising shows but you know the score.
