First of all, I want to say a big thank-you for visiting my Just Giving page and sponsoring me. The money I raise will go to Macmillan Cancer Support to provide services to people living with cancer and their families.

Macmillan reckon that 1 in 3 of us will get cancer at some stage in our lives, so the chances are that if even if none of you are ever unfortunate enough to be diagnosed yourself, someone you love will be. In 2008 I lost 2 very dear friends to cancer, and my Uncle Rick died of cancer in January this year. I want to do everything I can to raise money to help others facing this terrible disease, so please give generously and help me to raise as much money as possible. Whatever you can afford will be very gratefully received, and it will make a real difference to people living with cancer and their families.
