Tough Mudder · 16 August 2014
As part of my 2014 challenge I've decided to do the Tough Mudder (debatable whether that was a good idea or not as date draws near!) However, to make the challenge even more worthwhile, I'll be doing it to raise money for the charity Handicap International (which now makes it worthwhile).
Handicap international is an independent charity, working in areas of poverty, conflict and disaster to support the disabled and vulnerable. They work to meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights! Supporting over 60 countries worldwide, I think they're a worthwhile charity to support!
Any money, pennies or pounds, would be much appreciated and most importantly will be helping those who truly need support. Here's a small breakdown of how your money can help:
£15 can help clear a field of landmines and cluster munitions, making it safe for farmers to grow food on their land and for children to play.
£30 could provide an artificial limb to an amputee and help them regain their independence
£100 could make a school accessible to children with disabilities, ensuring they can gain an education and have the chance of a better future.
Quick info on JustGiving for those that know/never used it:

Thank you for your support, it's going towards a great cause (Y)
