Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I Solomon Adebiyi (A.K.A. Solomon The Artist) will be participating in a fundraising campaign to raise money on behalf of the Amos Bursary for its amazing New York Experience.

The Amos bursary is awarded to academically gifted young men of Afro-Caribbean decent, to propel them into upstanding future leaders. This is accomplished through personal development programmes and mentoring schemes.

Over the 4 years of being an AB scholar I have transitioned from a timid introverted boy into a confident young leader and this is testament to the fantastic work of the bursary, as well as my diligence.

The next path of my story will be on my New York experience where I will undertake work experience at the world renowned, award wining architecture firm Adjaye Associates. As a 2nd year Architect student at The University of Manchester this will be an invaluable experience  for my career.

However I need your help in order to achieve the target of £1500 I've been set to cover the cost of the flights, accommodation and living expenses and to support the great work that the bursary does to enable the next generation.

Every donation is an investment into the future in which you will surely see the results of.

Thank you for your support
