Story
I am fundraising for Solent Mind because I believe everyone with a mental health problem deserves support and respect, and I want to support the vital work Solent Mind do in my local community towards achieving this. I'll be running, jogging, or otherwise putting one foot in front of the other, in order to cover a kilometre for every pound donated through this appeal. If you want to support a great cause that means a lot to me, or just want to see me sweat, I'd greatly appreciate any donation you can spare to the link above! Cheers,
Tom :)
A little bit about the appeal from Solent Mind:
The coronavirus crisis is causing a great deal of distress to a lot of people, and we know that the need for mental health support is only going to increase. As Hampshire's leading mental health charity, Solent Mind remains determined to offer help to anyone who needs them. This fundraising appeal is aimed at enabling them to continue to do this.
- Just £3 could cover the costs of producing downloadable self-help guides to help people support themselves at home.
- £15 could allow Solent Mind to support 5 more people on their new coronavirus helpline each day. Trained staff can give immediate advice and help people to access additional services.
- £20 could allow Solent Mind to provide an hour and a half long online support group to help people connect to each other and share experiences.
