Story
Last year, this amazing girl came into my life and is now one of my close friends at university. We met at cheerleading, and we were base and flyer together for the whole of last year, even doing group stunt together. However, Ruana-Aimee has been fighting Cystic Fibrosis all her life, and it's affecting her day to day life even more every day. She currently can no longer participate in cheerleading, and it's obvious that we need to find a cure for CF as quickly as possible, so that Ru & other people who are having their life limited by this illness can live normal lives and live it long and to the fullest, without restrictions!
So, I will be restricting myself from something I enjoy, and hope it helps raise money for a worthwhile cause. Let's make 2016 the year that they find a cure!
(I also want to help spread the message that you don't need alcohol to have a good time. So many people I know let alcohol control their life, and let it change them as a person; I just want to be able to say that alcohol does not, and will not, control me.)
