Yemen is in the midst of a major crisis. Armed conflict, displacement, famine and disease have meant 22.2 million people are in desperate need of your help.Currently, over 75% of the entire population needs desperate humanitarian aid. Thats 22.2 million people in the middle of a major man-made crisis.11.3 million are in acute need of immediate assistance just to survive; an increase on over 1,000,000 people since 2017. Nearly one in three of every district in the region has been identified as a priority; meaning they are facing a heightened risk of famine and require coordinated and integrated response efforts to avert catastrophe. The 2018 Humanitarian Needs Overview estimated that 1.8 million children under the age of five are at risk of acute malnutrition whilst 400,000 are at risk of severe acute malnutrition; thats one in three children in desperate need.
The cost to feed a family for a whole month is £50. When seeing the condition these children are in, how can we not spare £50 to stop them from starving to death.
