The Soapbox team are delighted to be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 in support of Cosgrove Care. This incredible charity helps people across West Central Scotland to receive the equal opportunities they deserve and live more independent lives.
On Sunday 30th April, a soapbox team of Andy, Hayley, Gary, and Hayley will be donning their most stylish of kilts and taking part in the Glasgow 2023 Kiltwalk to help raise funds on behalf of Cosgrove Care.
We will be participating in the Big Stroll, a 14.3 mile walk starting in Clydebank and finishing in Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond.
Cosgrove Care provide person centred support to individuals and their families with additional needs, giving them the same life opportunities as everyone else.
They have built their fantastic organisation on the belief that every person deserves to feel valued and respected and work tirelessly to enhance the lives of those who need it the most.
Cosgrove support and incredibly wide variety of people from children and young people to adults, and those in later life. Their team of incredible staff provide tailormade support for each individual up to 40 hours per week assisting in all areas of daily life from care in the home to leisure activities and work.
Cosgrove are a small charity with huge ambitions and have had a wonderful impact in our local community, but they can’t do it alone. Their continued ability to provide the invaluable services they do rely on the kind donations and support of the public, with every pound raised truly helping to change someone’s life for the better.
