What do I do with Scleroderma in winter? Snuggle up!
Scleroderma or systemic sclerosis, is a chronic connective tissue condition affecting more that 6,000 Australians. Scleroderma Australia is the nations representive voice supporting the Scleroderma community across Australia. To raise awareness about the condition, Scleroderma Australia has adopted the sunflower as its icon. The sunflower is symbolic, as like the sunflower itself, it turns towards the sun for warmth. With scleroderma, I am more comfortable in warmer weather.
Scleroderma Australia celebrates World Scleroderma Month in June and World Scleroderma Day on the 29th of June to help raise awareness and funds to support us living with this condition and to help find a cure.
Scleroderma Australia receives no government funding and is run solely by volunteers. They rely on supporters to ensure they can support the scleroderma community across Australia. We need your help to raise funds and awareness.
