A major earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck central Türkiye and northwest Syria and Lebanon at 4am on the 7/02. Thousands have been killed and many more injured in collapsed residential buildings. Islamic Relief teams are responding on the ground now.

Story

I am climbing Snowdon on 25th February to help raise emergency funds for the people of Türkiye and Syria following the devastating earthquakes on February, 7th.

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Türkiye and and Syria has been devastating with so many people having lost their lives,  homes, and loved ones. The the death toll currently stands at 19,700, thousands injured and others still waiting to be rescued.

Those that have survived the quake have been left without shelter, water, fuel and electricity and with freezing weather conditions more people can lose their lives.

Islamic Releif is on the ground helping those in need:

* 50 can provide vital medical supplies to hospitals in Turkey

* £80 can provide an emergency cash grant for a family to purchase essentials

* £168 can provide two families with shelter in an emergency

Please donate generously - however big or small every little helps!
