Story
On the 19th October myself and Jordan will be walking up Snowdon to raise money to help Effie Middleton get an Innowalk.
Effie is an incredibly bright, loving, happy, cheeky and resilient little girl with an immense amount of determination, love of learning, and drive for independence.
Unfortunately, Effie also has Triplegic Cerebral Palsy, affecting her lower limbs and upper left limb, and ultimately her mobility. Effie strongly relies on various equipment and her Mum, to enable her to get around and enjoy all of the things any other 4 year old would. An Innowalk will allow Effie to exercise daily, feel the motion of walking, and build up her muscles and strength. This will go along way towards her dream of independence, along with the multitude of other health benefits that come from keeping the body moving in an upright position.
Anyone who knows me will be well aware of how much I hate even walking from pub to pub on a night out so climbing a mountain is a big deal and there is very few people I'd be willing to do this for. So please donate and make it so I have to force myself to be uncomfortable, cold and miserable for one day so that Effie can have more independence in life.
