Story

Three girls and I from Tadcaster Grammar School are walking up Snowdon on September 1st in aid of Yorkshire Eye Research, and we need your help!

Yorkshire Eye Research is currently running a project in Uganda in order to saave the lives of young children. Funds are needed to continue implementing successful treatment to these children suffering from a type of eye cancer called Retinoblastoma.

The research currently taking place is trying to address why when in the UK 96% of children are alive after 5 years in remission, in Afirca only 16% of children are still alive 5 years after diagnosis of this condition!
